What We Do
We also assist women and children at the slum area through education like kindergarten, training program, and scholarship. We work closely with government, NGO’s, corporation, schools in Batam to advocate Anti Human Trafficking, HIV &AIDS Prevention, and Anti violence against women and children.
Helpdesk
YDVW runs a helpdesk service for women migrant workers in seeking assistance . We give assist and option for their rights. YDVW can assist with temporary shelter, social rehabilitation, return to the origin village, and reintegration.
Shelter
YDVW provides temporary shelter to give support to women migrant workers returnees and children in crisis, victim of human trafficking and victim of labor exploitation in Batam .
Kindergartens & Reading House
YDVW supported community education projects for early childhood development program for children who are living at several migrant marginalized communities in Batam, Riau Island, Indonesia this project called “Little Angel kindergarten”.
Livelihood Development Program
Empowering Women and children with entrepreneurial skills, training and education could develop women and children for better life. YDVW engage and support our community partner society to achieve our shared vision to build better life for all especially women and children at marginalized community.
HIV & AIDS Prevention
YDVW commitment to contribute on HIV/AIDS prevention programs for youth, migrant workers and factory workers in Batam. We collaborate with the HIV & AIDS Commission, and Health Department in Batam, we has been reach around 50 senior high schools students or 4000 to 5000 students in every year.
Anti Human Trafficking & Anti Violance Againts Women & children Program
YDVW continue to advocate on anti human trafficking and violence against women & children issue. We give services to help victim of human trafficking especially women and children including migrant workers returnees.
